It brings us so much joy to bring you one gold star and three silver stars from this year's Australian Bridal Industry Academy - ABIA Awards which were held on Tuesday 7th May at Crown Aviary.

As you are all aware, we are owned by Going Gourmet which won Best Independent Caterer thanks to all your amazing votes and we were finalists in Best Wedding Reception, Ceremony Venue and Function Coordinator also.

Thank you again for everyone taking the time to vote, we love what we do here at Going Gourmet and Baxter Barn - Weddings & Events and cannot wait to smash out another wedding season with you all.

First Looks are becoming a popular option among our couples here at Baxter Barn. With the photos being completed before the ceremony, the couple can enjoy the entire wedding with their friends and family.

How they work. You arrive first with the videographer and photographer, facing your back to where your partner will be arriving. When your partner arrives, they walk towards you and tap you on the shoulder, you then turn around and have that “aisle moment” and share that first look, just between the two of you.

"WOW is the first word that came to mind when I think of how amazing the venue and staff are at Baxter Barn! I planned my wedding from overseas and without viewing the venue first but it blew all my expectations! I relied on reviews to make that choice which is why I feel really compelled to say that if you choose this venue then you will not be disappointed! 

Everything from the smallest detail to the important bits (like the incredible food that the chef offers!) was considered. I can't imagine my day running anywhere as smoothly as it did without the incredible support that Amy and Lucy provided to us. This is far more than a venue, the staff guided and helped in any way they possibly could to ensure that everything turned out just the way we wanted it to. I can't speak more highly enough of our experience at Baxter Barn and each member of their team who pulled together on the day to provide the best possible service.
