The food so far is mouth watering.The canapes are to absolutely die for...havent even had dinner yet...cant wait. But the thing for me as an entertainer is the management couldnt be nicer...i am blown away by how much i am well treated....nothing is too much trouble. I am not looked down on because i am the hired help. Amy the Manger, is a true professional and explained what was happening through the whole night, nothing was too much trouble. Please make sure to seriously consider the Baxter Barn for your next function"

Cathy D.: "This venue is an absolute dream!! We are still receiving comments from our guests a month later saying that it was hands down the best wedding they had ever been to! To have your ceremony, pre-reception and reception all in the one spot takes the stress out of the whole day. We even took our wedding photos there! The garden ceremony area is intimate and private with wine barrels, old cottage and a flower archway. There is also a lawn games area which was a great place to have some post-ceremony drinks! The reception area was incredible!! 5 long tables under fairy lights with the backdrop of the lake and beautiful pine trees! A massive hanging wooden frame for photos was also a highlight with the guests! Then there was the Barn itself which just looked amazing and went off as a dancefloor!! In terms of the staff, Amy, Lucette and the entire team at Baxter Barn take the cake in terms of hard work, dedication and professionalism! They were always so helpful no matter how many questions we had and always went above and beyond to accommodate any needs or ideas we had for our wedding. They were always prompt in getting back to us and even contacted us a few times in case we hadn’t thought of certain things! They were really on the ball from the beginning of the process to the end and the job they did on the day was absolutely flawless! Everything ran perfectly! In terms of the catering, it was by far the best wedding food we had ever had and judging by our guest’s comments, the best they had ever had. We were able to attend a tasting night prior to booking the wedding and once we tried the food there was no turning back! Being massive foodies, it really was the selling point! You can design your menu from a wide variety of choices to suit your style and needs. We went with the feasting menu which involved 7 canapes and then a sit down feasting menu where the guests receive 3 meats each plus sides! We also had a large amount of people with dietary requirements and all of those people plus the remainder of our guests were very well catered for! There were even leftovers on each table! Also, there is the choice of using the venue’s alcohol menu or you can do DIY drinks! We did the latter and were able to create our own drinks menu which included Espresso Martinis! Overall, we couldn’t be happier with how our day went and that thanks to the amazing venue, food and staff at Baxter Barn! Thanks so much again guys!"
